Ingredients
  1. 1 chicken
  2. 1 stick butter
  3. 2 or 3 onions, diced
  4. 1 pk cornbread mix, cooked
  5. celery, diced, to taste
  6. 1 T sage, to taste, at least 1or2 tbsp
  7. 3 or 4 slices bread
  8. 1 sm can pet milk (optional)
  9. 5 or 6 eggs
Cook Chicken
  1. Add butter, 1 onion and chick to large pot of water.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Boil chicken until cooked.
  4. De-bone and tear chicken into pieces. Save the broth.
Cornbread
  1. Cook cornbread as directed.
  2. After cooking, crumble up cornbread for later use.
For the dressing
  1. Coat casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. Place cooked chicken in casserole dish
  3. Add crumbled corn bread, remaining onion(s), celery, sage, bread torn into pieces, pet milk, and eggs.
  4. Mix well and pour chicken broth over mixture. This will be very soupy.
  5. Bake 30-45 minutes at 365 degrees.
